How To Get There

Take the A87(T) north out of Portree. Around 3 miles up this road look out for a minor road to the right. If you miss the first there is a second turning just after the fork with the A850. It really doesn't matter which you take. Assuming that you've managed to take the first turn, just follow the road up the hill and around to the left. The stones are right by the side of the road.

The guide book I bought from the tourist office in Broadford told me that there were five standing stones to be seen here. Three larger ones around a meter high and two smaller ones of around half that height, forming a cross. I could only see the three larger stones once we arrived. Whether the two smaller stones have been removed, or were hidden by the grass I can't say.
